2013: Which product line will IWC revamp next?

In 2009, IWC revamped the entire Aquatimer line-up and in 2010 did an almost complete revamp of their Portuguese line. In 2011 it was the the Portofino line of watches that was updated. For 2012, it was the Pilot's line.

what line is next for 2013? or will they take a year off?

It's time for the DaVinci line to make a come back

Or keep building on the Portuguese family and continuing innovating

I hope so. Maybe they can push the size above 50MM on these ones!

    Not really, I'm kidding.

Haha, I won't bet against it, even the new dress watches are getting bigger (the new Portugueses and Portofinos) 44 - 45mm. I think what really needs a revamp is IWC management team. No, I'm not kidding.

The Mercedes AMG IWCs are coming back again.

Personally, I think this might be a good time to rethink all things IWC, from the ground up, and from top management on down. Recent "revamps" have really been minor tweaks rather than major innovations--perhaps it is time to revisit and retool the whole organization.

Frankly, nothing would make me happier than if they re-released the 3227 at 42.5mm and the 3228 (sans display back and with a soft iron case) at 40mm.

I have heard from high placed sources that IWC is going to introduce a new and unique horological invention - the quadruple date window! Truly marvelous engineering to be sure.

That's what I like about this forum.

But now you are going to get banned for letting out their latest invention :)
