    GasGasBones Velcro on AquaTimer 2000

After getting a little bit tired of wearing my AT on only the rubber, I started looking into other options. Unfortunately the bracelet wasn't really an option, so my mind went towards the Velcro option. I managed to pick one up on here, and it arrived a few months ago. I would like to say I loved it, but unfortunately I was underwhelmed, and it sat in a drawer. For the price, I would have expected something a bit more substantial, as the narrow width of it just didn't really feel right for such a large watch head.

Fast forward a few months, and I contacted Carl at GasGasBones straps, and gave him some sizes to think about. I wanted to have a wider backing, and yellow stitch to contrast, and it had to fit the OEM end links I had removed from the Velcro. I settled on the BRV2 strap, and off he set to work, and I received it the other day. What a transformation! I love it - the fit and quality is excellent, and it is extremely ccomfortable. It's a bit difficult to photograph, but when the sun comes out, I will try again!

Looks great from what i can see. The yellow stitch really makes it pop.

Think that is one of the best looking custom strap jobs I have seen on the aquatimer. Great job.

Wow, that looks terrific! IWC should think about contracting Carl@gasgasbones to offer it as a factory option.

I have found a source for ETA-28XX compatible destro dials (9 o'clock crown, 3 o'clock window). If you're curious of the source feel free to send me a PM.

Not bad. I wish there were some other options.

I just tried the AT out today at our new AD in Denver and didn't love the rubber strap much. I wish there were some aftermarket options.

I really like this. I ordered this strap also. Did you use spring bars and what is the diameter of the spring bar? I can not find screw bars to use.
