JLC is a step above the IWC in terms of movement, fit and finish, but the particular model you've picked out is just way too busy for my taste. IWC wins this battle. But if you're looking for a world timer, how about this new IWC 3262?

    Kindest Regards,

Thanks to the picture from portauto. I'm totally forgot the new IWCPilot's Watch Worldtimer 3262. I went to the AD today and try both of them on my hand, my heart beating with the JLC. I like the busy look of the watch, especially the world time and the chrono. Does anyone know the best model of IWC or JLC for dressing and fit for any occasion? Thanks

IWC Portuguese 5001 is the most versatile watch I own, from jeans to a suit

JLC Master Ultra Thin Moon 39 is next on my wish list and well worth trying as well

    Kindest Regards,

This is a whole different question, I think. A world timer and/or chrono will likely not be all that great for a dress watch, while on the other hand, both would be fine for all-rounders. For a dress watch, I would get a non-chrono Portuguese, or one of the larger Portofinos. Not a JLC fan myself. Really seems like you are looking for two different watches, though.

I love that IWC, I want one of those. Of course, I already have 5 IWC watches. But my next one is likely to be a JLC... but not that one, sorry.

I sure have a very special spot in my heart for JLC but not this one though. YC wins this fight for me.

I think the Yacht Club is one of the best looking Chrono on the market, IF you got the wrist for it.

The JLC looks too busy. On the YC, the simplicity = pure class.

As owner of a Yact Club silver dial, I can tell you it wears big, really big on my 7inches wrist. Make sure to try it before. It's a beauty, no dobt there! The 89360 Calibre is a nice one but nothing to compare to the JLC in my opinion and in the opinion of many watch afficionado. The YC is in a class of it's own as for the look of it, there are no JLC that look similar, the only one I can think of is the Master Compressor Chrono2, which I am now waiting after delivery :)

A side note, depending on your wrist size, make sure the rubber band fits nicely, reason is that after 6 months it's still not really flexible. I expected it to become softer and more comfy, but it's not. I realize now it will never be as soft and comfy as a leather strap of timex rubber band ;)

    Cheers

Re: Help Me !!! ICW vs JLC. Which one you prefer?

Thanks guys. I like the look of the Yacht club but the movement I like the JLC more. I have 7in wrist, too. Now I'm wearing the Omega Planet Ocean Pro Co-axial Chrono 45.5(2012), it looks fine to me. Really hard to decide both IWC and JLC, I like both of them. :) Base on the movement, accuracy and the value(not the look of he watch) which one is better and worth money?
