How to get a replacement wristband for a 1960s watch?

I just inherited an IWC from the 1960s, which I am pretty sure corresponds to 1214.

With respect to the above image have I identified the watch correctly or is it another version? I have been told that the watch was produced in 1962/63 - are there any other catalogs than the ones listed on the the IWC forum.?

Also, the original leather wristband has for some reason been replaced by a somewhat odd-looking metal wristband, and therefore I am now searching for a replacement wristband in black leather. How do I go about to get such a wristband? Is it possible to get original wristbands from the 1960s or do I have to buy a new one?

Thank you very much in advance!

please bear with my ignorance, or potentially inadequate language skills, but what is the aftermarket?

The 'Straps & Bracelets Forum' would be a good place to start.
