    If I were you I would now go to a watchmaker and have it checked for waterresistance as you have opened up te watch ;)

    Don't worry, fake aquatimer are horrible, no problem with this one. A good way to be sure is to check if you see the yellow in the dark.

    Do you mean the luminsence?

    i m looking into one as well just wondering beside opening the back what els can i see ?

    Here's the thing... Buy your AT from a legit source and you won't have to worry if it's fake or not..

    Here's the thing...we don't all buy all of our watches new from an AD. Many of us take calculated risks buying used in the open market, so looking for validation of the purchase is natural. Congrats to the OP on that gorgeous AT!

    I wasn't insinuating that everyone needs to buy from an AD, but, just don't buy from a shady source just to save some pennies.

    I buy from WUS/Tz often and I see both sources as an excellent place to source watches as long as they come from long standing members who have a history of positive transactions.

    Greg market dealers can also be just fine.

    But from someone you don't know who has no references who just magically falls from the sky with a great iwc for a bargain may be something to shy away from.
