I went to IWC Boutique to decide which Yacht Club? But fell in love with . . . ? Its got home today

Today I went into my local IWC Boutique to try out all the different Yacht Clubs. Was curious to see a Titanium in real life. The Titanium never looked right on my wrist. The matt finished grey case and black face just doesn't show off the lines and details of the Yacht Club. Then was the black face, what a elegent looking watch. Loved it but maybe not enough wow factor. The white knight came next, once on my wrist it said its me, its me!! I thought this is the one. I did asked to have a look at the rose gold. Its looks good online, it has the full black face instead a black face with white outer ring light the SS version. I think the rose gold black face looks much better than the SS version. Very dressy elegent watch. At this point it was rose gold vs white face. Its kind of clearly the white face because its half the price. But but the rose gold does look so good, I might be able to justify the price. Suddenly I remembered that I always wanted to have a look at a Kurt Klaus.

The mighty Kurt Klaus came out, brought to me in white gloves. Wow there is no doubt that is the watch! Good presence, beautiful details, the moon phase, the double hands on sub dial, textured face, rose gold hour pointers, rose gold hands, the beautiful case shape . . it just keeps going Got that classic elegent look and its sporty as well due to its size. I do have to confess that I do have a larger wrist. All my Rolexs doesn't have to be sized and most of my strap watches I am using the 2nd last hole. I do like larger watches = Kurt Klaus.

My dilema, The Kurt Klaus or The Da Vinci range doesn't seems to be loved. Even in the sticky picture thread, I see that. Not even one page of pictures compare to 4 to 6 pages for other IWC's. Is there something wrong with The Da Vince range or The Kurt Klaus? I thoght the Kurt Klaus has the most iconic IWC movement. Specially made for the Kurt Klaus and it complicated. What will the residual value be like for a un-loved watch. Is there a problem with reliability with the movement? I really wanted one but in abit of doubt. Please tell me what you think about this watch . . . .

I got one more question, if someone can help. There seems to be two model number for the SS Kurt Klaus, IW376204 Vs IW376207. I believe IW376207 is a later model. What's the difference between the two? The IW376204 seems to go for a discounted price on the net. Any particular reasons?

    Help needed guys !!

Borrowed some pics from the net.

I think the only thing wrong with these watches is the price-tag and that is being reflected in the number of pics (which is a derivative of the numbers actually around) you see in the picture thread. In addition to that, I personally have an issue with their size ...... it's just too big for my skinny 6.75" wrist.

These are beautiful watches, very well made, very special, high exclusivity. Absolutely nothing wrong with them.

Hope this is helpful - can't give you any deep insights as I don't own these particular models.

I went into my local IWC boutique looking for a ball cap to go with my Flieger.

    Congrats on the new piece.
