IWC Big Ingenieur/Mission Earth or 45mm Omega Planet Ocean

I am wondering if anyone has had the opportunity to compare the sizing of the IWC Big Ingenieur, Mission Earth or the older style Omega 2500 movement Planet Ocean 45mm? I have only been able to try the Omega on and I am trying to determine if the IWC's wear smaller or larger in size to the Omega. I am struggling to find this info out so thanks in advance if anyone can be of assistance. Lastly, if anyone would like to give me their opinion of the 3 watches I have mentioned, and what one would you vote for. I am looking to use this for a sporty/casual watch and I already own a dress watch. Thanks again. I really appreciate it.

Well I would not buy a PO with the 2500 movement ever. I absolutely love the new PO's with the 8500, it is one of the nicest watches on the market right now. I went into my local Boutique wearing a Sub C and found that the 8500 PO was every bit of a watch with a price tag that is thousands less, I think it is the best sport diver on the market. I have a 7 1/4" wrist and the 42 is what I prefer for my wrist.

I had a Mission Earth years ago and I did like it but it was heavy, and mine was on the rubber strap. The big Ing I can only imagine wear larger and heavier, but I have never owned one.

If I were you, I would get a 8500 PO on the bracelet than go get the OEM rubber. You now have a fantastic watch with the ability to switch it up a bit between the bracelet and the rubber. If you do some research, you can also find the PO with a nice discount from a AD, not a Boutique.

I have a Mission Earth on bracelet & a 45mm PO with the 2500 movement.

Both are fairly big watches, with the IWC being a bit bigger overall. I prefer my Ingenieur ME to my Planet Ocean.
