New AMG Ingenieur non chrono rattling noise

Hi guys just picked up my new Ingy today from the Boutique and when I got home I realised a rattling noise when I shake it. Is this normal? It's the non chrono version.

Sorry I would normally post some pics and do an introduction thread but this has me frazzled.

Btw the noise sounds like there's a little tiny piece loose inside causing the rattling.

Could it be the rotor spinning?

I've got in touch with the manager of the boutique today and apparently the noise I described is normal and consistent with IWC watches.

Can any of the other AMG non chrono owners chime in on this?

I too believe that it's the rotor spinning. It's the winding mechanism for the automatic movement while you wear it on your wrist. My pilot chrono, aquatimer and mission earth all have that rotating spinning sound

My big pilot also has the noise.

IWC's with Pellaton winding have a rattle when they wind. You can hear the system working:

Thanks for the assurance guys, it was just a little alarming that an IWC could sound like that. I think it sorta cheapens the watch a bit. Regardless I still love my AMG Ingy.

Actually I think it does the opposite as only the inhouse movements have this sound ;)
