Love the dial, even the controversial 3 date window.
Size is a comfortable everyday wear compared to the Yacht Club

Thank you! I previously owned the 3717 and find this to be a very worthy replacement. The dial does appear to the naked eye more than 1mm larger than the 3717 due mainly to the cosmetic changes that were made but I think it suits the Pilot motif. Here are some wrist shots to illustrate how the piece sits and the height of the case off the wrist. My wrist measures 6.75 in.

The movement is the same as 3717 I'm afraid. But I love this updated version. The new date layout, textured sub dial, and the larger new crown. Congrats!

My mistake...the spitfire is the new in house movement. I should have known I was mixing some facts when considering the two. My apologies
