Please can some help: IWC Schaffhausen is this genuine

Hi,

I have the opportunity to buy an IWC watch at what would seem a good price. However, there is no documentation or proof of purchase as he bought it used.

The Watch looks excellent - but I'm nervous of buying it without any authentication.

Please see the pictures. If it's not genuine - can anyone point me to the best place to buy used IWC watches (I'm in the UK).

It's either a fake or polished on the wrong surfaces (lugs and bezel).

Found many pictures online regarding this model.
I haven't seen any major difference between the posted one vs. authentic..
Best way would be to have a watchmaker check it out.

Never seen one of these with a polished case. The crown stem does appear to too long as there is a gap between the crown and case. I would be suspicious and insist on the case being opened to check the movement before buying.
