Swan Neck Regulator ?

Dear IWC experts,

I have acquired this watch but am worried about the state of the swan neck regulator - don't you think that it is broken ?

What else do you say about the watch ? What caliber ? Was it made in great numbers (probably - as the dial looks rather "cheap")

It probably just your picture, but I surely don't see a Swan Neck Regulator!

Seriously, that does not look like a swan neck regulator (whatever is on top of the balance wheel). I thought it was mostly a German movement thing anyway.
