Thinking about a new strap for my 3717-13

Was thinking about this:
New 21mm CALF LEATHER STRAP Band Fit IWC PILOT Black 21 | eBay

Or this:
New 21mm Brown CALF LEATHER STRAP Band for IWC PILOT 21 | eBay

How do you think it would look on a black strap? It comes on a brown croc strap even though it has a black face.

Also open to suggestions. Thanks for your help!

IMHO I like the 3717 best on the Top Gun kevlar strap.



The strap choices you listed are also fine and both would look great.

I have the same IWC watch.

Would you tell me the place I can get that TOP GUN Kevlar strap.
And have any suggestion about fitted rubber strap. And most of the time I see either 20 mm or 22 mm lug widths
for the straps, however this watch has 21 mm lug width! Do you think 22 mm will somehow fit by force or its better to go with 20 mm?

I wouldn't get either of the two straps shown in your links from the bay, nor the Kevlar. First, you can EASILY put a 22mm strap on a 21mm lug width. With that said, you have a huge number of options available. I would check out Steinhart's website, they sell aviator watches, but also a lot of great aviator straps at very good prices. For a real steal of a deal on the bay, though, you can't beat a Bob strap. As for color, for me it would have to be black or dark brown, though it depends a lot on the strap itself (design, stitching, and so forth).
