Maybe it's just used as a reference so you can contact your local AD to order the straps for you?

Yes, I agree it is just a reference, just like the watches being listed are a reference... your AD can order them of course!

I actually emailed Hamilton about ordering straps and they forwarded my request to Swatch Parts Group who then sent me an order form for straps.

So, you can't actually order off the Hamilton website, but you can order directly from Swatch for your Hamilton straps instead of going through an AD if you choose.

I didn't get price quotes; only an order form a buyer would have to fill out before Swatch would send you the quote and begin processing the order if you choose to go forward with directly purchasing from them.

If I'm looking for after-market straps, anyone know of a good source for ones that will fit Hamiltons (22mm), and a butterfly deployant clasp?

Anyway you could PM me the form? It would be good to know the range of straps, even without pricing. The Hamilton site is surprisingly poor at listing out reference number for the different straps they offer.
