    Hamilton Frogman models

After a few months of searching and waiting, I finally found one . The non-chrono version that is.

Not exactly what I was expecting though. I had done quite a bit of searching and image ogling on the frogmans, and saw mostly bead blasted titanium and polished/brushed titanium. The one I got would fall in the latter category but the case color seems off. It's not the typical dark grey my other TI watches are, or like anything I've seen when I was searching.

Here's the sellers pic. I thought it was just a bad stock picture but the color is actually pretty accurate.

Any idea why the color is like this?

Nice pickup - it looks great! That is my favorite version.

I'm not sure about the color of the Ti, that is how I recall it looking when I tried one on.

One possibility is that it's anodized TI:

Some modders have done it to their TI to give it a bronze appearance, but I am not sure why it would have been done on this Hamilton. The whole case would have been cool, but just the brushed section is a little strange.

I still haven't worn it yet cause I'm still worried something is off about the case. But if the one you tried one was a similar color, it makes me feel a little better.

That would be cool! But the bezel and caseback aren't affected; one is polished and the other brushed titanium.

Could be controlled. I knew a few guys who did something like that to their weapons a little while back.

    Re: Hamilton Frogman models

Oh, guess I was being silly cause I thought you meant the watch was caught in a fire. Anyway, looks nice.

EDIT: Ended up flipping it cause I'm a sucker for bracelets... saw another for sale on a bracelet so I'm gonna get that one and take a hit on flipping mine.
