This is an awesome model by Hamilton! I bought this same model second-hand, but I didn't get it yet. I just don't get why the leather is brown on this black dialed watch.

I bought this watch used as well. It has very rapidly ascended to "go-to" status, and is the cause of me both leaving my beloved BR-01 and GWF-1000 in the watch box, and putting a few pieces on the "for sale" forum. After finding this beauty, My "watch lust" dropped away to almost zero. (almost). My watch differs from yours though, in that on the back, where yours says "water resistant 20bar/290psi" , mine has a little picture of a fish then says "20ATM/660ft" I know it means the same thing, but anyone know why they are different?
so, back to the watch;
The case is brushed/polished and is beautiful and a work of art itself when examined up close, the movement, sapphire front & rear, the hands, dial- everything is PERFECT on this watch.... almost...
This watch has but one problem (I.M.O)......
If this is a pilot, why is the triangle @ 12 pointing down? On every other pilot watch I've seen, it points up. I always thought diver watches point down....
I'm actually considering taking this to a watchmaker and having them lift the (what appears to be) applied metal triangle and reseating it.
THEN it will be perfect.
