help with hamilton.. new to it..

hi everyone, im new to hamilton watches and stumbled upon this
Hamilton Khaki Air Quartz Chronograph PVD at topperjewelers.com. priced at 299. I was wondering if the watch is worth it for the price and is there anything fancy about the watch. thank you in advance.

I haven't had any personal experiences with Toppers or own that particular Hamilton, but I have heard that Toppers is an official Hamilton seller and therefore they should be considered reputable. I am afraid that is as much as I can help you with in answer to your questions. In my personal opinion, being a quartz as opposed to some of the great automatic watches that the brand produces, you could find much better Hamiltons at that price. A quick look at this section of the forum will give you many good Hamilton examples, unless of course you wish to stick to quartz.

Good luck and enjoy your search, its only part of the fun

thank you sir, Toppers is a local shop for me and i stopped by to see the watch. and it looks like a toy watch.. not in a bad way.. just looks like for a teenager. I have yet to see and value the price difference between a quartz and a high caliber automatic movement.. for me its tells time and looks good so its good.. hahaha.. thank you again sir.

    No problem pacific17

Having a local Hamilton AD is a bonus as you have the chance to have a close look at the great range of the Hamilton brand, which is better known for it's automatics. Many members have to rely on photos in the Internet and I am sure many here would like to be near one like you

Quartz or automatics is a personal choice, in the end what counts is what you like and feel comfortable wearing

    All the best
