Help me decide!

I am wanting to choose between the Hamilton Jazzmaster Auto Chrono or the Hamilton Khaki X-Wind

One with white dial and the other with black dial.
I find the Jazzmaster Auto Chrono a more dressier and classic looking watch for every occasion. Compared to the Khaki X-Wind which is more for daytime use, evenings rather have a more classic looking watch. But the Jazzmaster looks smaller (too small???) when worn on the wrist then the X-Wind (exactly right???)
But my concern is that the X-Wind is just for a few years (thinking of style) rather then the classic Jazzmaster.

So another dilemma shall I get leather or stainless steel bracelet, what to choose??!??

Actually I want them both but still I am not certain wheather I am gonna keep the X-Wind after a couple of years...

Help me decide!!!

O Yeah its for daily use worn with a suit and for weekends casual longsleeve sweater/vest and jeans.

Those are two different watches. Dressy vs sporty.. Decide what do you need and then your option is clear.

The need is for work.
I think I can wear them both to work, I can pull it off to wear the X-Wind with a suit...
But as I mentioned I wouldnt be able to wear it in the evening (own opinion) so I have to change watches after work (do I want to do that everey evening?). Would be a shame.

I think the second watch encapsulates the best of both worlds; work and play.

The face is easy to read and sophisticated , as opposed to the second types(3rd and 4th watches) which seems like they couldn't fit anything more on the face even if they tried, lol.

I also think the first versions(1st and 2nd watches) could work well with both stainless steel and leather(both brown and black) for your purposes.

I have both watches with the leather bands shown in the pictures. First off, terrific choices, they are 2 of the nicest watches that Hamilton offers. I have large wrists and prefer a watch with a presence. The X-Wind makes a bold statement but the Auto Chrono is no slouch, it wears larger than you may think. The obvious answer is to get both over whatever period of time finances allow. If I had some reason to only keep one of these watches it would be the Auto Chrono hands down. It is simply a more versatile watch, it goes with a suit as well as it does with jeans. Another consideration is that if you are going to wear whatever watch you choose with a suit, the Auto Chrono will fit under a dress shirt much more easily than the X-Wind. I do not wear my X-Wind to work for this specific reason. Also, for whatever reason (maybe the silver face), pictures just don't capture how gorgeous the Auto Chrono is. As for a bracelet vs strap, personal choice but for me the straps really bring out the personalities of these watches.

Thank u for ur insight as you have the choice of being able to wear them both. Why wouldnt u wear the X-Wind with a suit. I think it would look good as well, as for the Auto Chrono being versitile I am beginning to think so as well.


I am yet not totally convinced in my choice but I am considering to get the 2nd watch with the lightbrown leather strap. And if I want to change it up a bit get the stainess steel bracelet (just the bracelet) as well for the more sportier occasions. However how would it be to change the bracelet/strap myself, would this be easy to do?

WOW! The choice gets even harder now. Would this fit my wrist the case is 46 mm and my [small] wrist is 6.3 inches (measured it yesterday)
Or with the brown leather! But its a Cal. ETA A07.211 Movement, is this better??? than the Valjoux 7750. I havent heard of this movement yet, who can tell me more of this movement?

I want them all three actually! LOL
