Looking to buy my first Hamilton, suggestions?

This will be my first watch purchase and will likely be an all purpose watch for at least 2~3 years.

Currently I am looking at Hamilton model H32656785 and H78465553.

I like blue hands and leather strap, but also want to have an option to switch to a metal bracelet.

Any other suggestions? Recommendations from other brands are also welcome. My budget is max $2000, but closer to $1500.

PS where can I find a good deal on a watch? I am based in Los Angeles.

I would highly recommend the Hamilton Khaki Pilot. It comes in 46 or 42mm case and is well within your budget. It has a Swiss ETA 2836 movement and IMO is just gorgeous. However, I believe the 42mm version only comes with a swiss Quartz movement. But this watch is FANTASTIC to get in the bigger version for those who have never had a "larger" watch. Yes, 46mm is large to some people but this thing looks JUST RIGHT and not HUGE. even on a smaller wrist IMO.

I do not know of any dealers in LA but I am sure there are MANY. It RETAILS for $995 but it may be slightly higher in LA. But IMO it is the biggest bang for the buck!

I do know that Jomashop.com carries them for less than $700 if you get the leather band version and about $710 for the metal band.

You could look into the Spirit of Liberty. There's a couple different models, and two have blue hands.
