My Hamilton Khaki Mechanical; I couldn't be happier

    Good morning all,

In August I bought a LNIB Khaki Mechanical from a fellow WUS member. I wound, set and wore the watch daily. When I checked my watch against the The official US time (NIST & USNO) online clock I was ecstatic to see that it had only gained 5-seconds in 2-weeks. Outstanding!

This model uses the ETA 2802 movement. I've never owned watch with this movement before and if this normal for ETA quality I'll be looking for more.

I also own 2 vintage Hammies: a 1940's Lester and a 1930's Martin. For Christmas my wife gave me a Aqua Riva Chrono with a Valjoux 7754 movement. It's interesting to see the contrast between the models.

Hamilton seems to make a lot of watch for the money. I've got my eye on a couple of others...

    Have a great weekend everyone!

    Earl

I bought my own mechanical today. Love the thin, matte SS case, green dial, lug holes, smooth ETA 2804-2 caliber, 28.8 vph, etc. It's 38mm, but looks as large as my Milgauss GV on my wrist because of the narrower bezel.
