New Hamilton Owner-Hamilton Khaki Auto Military

Recieved my first Hamilton yesterday and couldn't be happier with my purchase. Been into the divers for a while and recently started branching out into the military watch segment, this one makes my first auto winding military piece. Blown away by the quality of this one, my first Hamilton but certainly not my last. Oh, will be changing straps soon, couldn't handle the super stiff nato this one came on, especially with it's longish lug length.

Congrats! Wow, I love it. I thought I was more partial to the brown field version, but I reallly like this. And, though the mesh isnt MY style, it certainly wears well on you. Enjoy it!!

PS is it 40mm or 42mm?
    Regards,

    Steve

By the displacement of the number 15 on the dial, my bet is 42mm. I didn't know there was a 40mm, just a 38. I can't say for sure though.

Yes, it is 42mm. Honestly I never thought I would say this but the watch could actually be a little smaller, especially the lug length. It hugs the wrist reasonably well so I am pleased with the dimensions but a tad smaller would be nice.

New to the Hamiltons and I'll be darned, that 15 is awkwardly placed, should be on the other side of the date window imo.

An auto Field is on my list to buy this year. Really like the black with mesh, only thing is the rather large (at least to me) open space between lugs and the bracelet bar. Thanks for sharing!
