    Exchange rates and payment emails

I know we don't get a payment email until the watch is ready to built but with exchange rates as favorable as they've ever been for us US-based Stowaphiles, is it possible to go ahead and pay for an order sooner than that? I haven't ordered my watch yet but I do have it in my cart...

I'm in the same boat (I've already ordered my watch).

I don't see the Euro gaining anything on the US dollar anytime soon, so I think you should be ok. I would bet on the exchange rate to be more favorable for us US customers in the next few months anyway. Europe is dealing with some serious issues now and it isn't going to get much better in the near term (just my opinion).

+1 by the way, but I think there are more savings to be had, but I am not a fortune teller.

I agree with you, but it would be nice to have the option to pay when one feels comfortable with the exchange rate.

I feel you. I think my watch on order has gotten about $100 cheaper since when I ordered it, so no complaints here :)

I have stopped bringing up the sliding euro around my house. Had my wife bought my Schauer at the current rate we would have saved about $600... I could have gotten another Stowa!

what about you do what investors do at a smaller scale. in order to even out what you pay for a mutual fund or stocks, they are purchased at a periodic rate, i.e. once a month. so, make a half down payment now and remaining half when the watch comes due. although, viveca probably would not be happy having to track your payments. lol.

    maybe better to wait!

This time last year, a Prodiver would have cost $150 more. The Euro's been going up the past 3 days but it looks like it's sliding again this morning. What a mess... Between this and tracking my AAPL, my head hurts. :D
