    My first Stowa...

Hello all, this is my first post, though I've been reading the forum for some time.
I just put an order for my first Stowa: a Marine, with date and dark brown leather strap. It seemed the best combination, from all the pics I saw.
I'm really looking for receiving it! Those great blue hands really convinced me!
At Stowa's website, it indicates the model is in stock, hopefully very soon I'll be coming back with some pics.
This is my second buy of the year, the first was an Archimede Pilot (which is indeed a great value for money).
    See you soon!

Great watch! Post pictures when you get it. I was torn between this watch and the Antea Chronometer I just bought. In the end, I just wanted more of a dress watch. I will probably get a Marine at some point also.

I'd really love to have this Marine, but I'm betting they're sold out now - maybe they'll make a return one day if the mov't becomes available:

    Best Regards,
    Brian

I thought that there were still 3 or 4 of the decorated Marines left, I have one of them on order.

Try an email to Jorg, you could be in luck.

Hello all and thank you for your best wishes.

I just got my new Stowa Marine! Ordered it last Sunday and got it today, just 5 days from Germany to Portugal.
I most appreciate the nice packaging, a small detail but a very nice one.
The watch is indeed so simple and clean and yet it's so attractive. I'm loving it since the first moment I opened the box.
The strap seems ok, I'll keep it for now (I have a very small wrist and it is feels now a bit large but will fix it asap). My only doubt is whether I should have go for the deployant supplied by Stowa. Do you think it is worth while? How does it fit into a small wrist like mine?
I'll try to make some photos this weekend and will post them soon.

    Until then!!

    Hello all,

Here it is a picture I just took from my Marine. Must practice the macros...
Two days of full use and it's working perfectly!
I really must fix the strap that is too large for my wrist. But this seems to be a hard task, no store wants to adjust it...

    A beautiful watch! Congratulations!

I hope you get your watch strap sized soon. If not, maybe you could buy a different strap or a bracelet that would suit you better.
