My first Stowa has just arrived

It's a no logo Flieger with the chronometer grade movement. After all the praise that has been heaped on Stowa on this forum, I was half expecting to be disappointed by the reality. But no, it is every bit as good as I was expecting. Something I wasn't expecting is the way the blued hands "switch" on and off quite abruptly as the lighting angle changes. Wow. My only complaint is that the packaging should contain a health warning - something on the lines of "Buying this watch could lead to a serious long term addiction"! I can't seem to upload images at the moment. I'll try again later.

Feb 17th at 23.06 - Here (hopefully) are the pics I failed to upload earlier today. The watch, of course, looks much better in the flesh!

    Sorry about the delay.

We faced some problems lately with direct uploads from computer. Use a photo host (photobucket, flickr) and you will have no problems any more.
    Kind regards

    Congratulations, looks (of course) stunning.

Thanks for sharing. Feel free to add some more pictures, it softens the waiting for me :)
How long did you have to wait for it? Longer than expected?

Beautiful watch that will always be in style, made with a quality timepiece. Great choice for your first Stowa.
Wear it in good health and thank you for sharing.

Thank you for your good wishes. When I ordered the watch the website said delivery in mid January. I got the notification e-mail from Regine on 24th Jan and the watch was delivered on 16th Feb. So, a little longer than expected but well worth the wait. It is beautiful!

Congrats on your purchase, the Flieger is one of the best looking Stowa watches!
Is it wierd that I think it is more beautiful on the back than on the front? I really like the back case and especially the Rotor, with the serial number of the watch and signed by Mr. Schauer..!

Absolutely Volker...!!! Great Unitas movement..! I trully believe that many watches are more beautiful on the back than on the front. Like the limited Stowa watch with the Ω caliber.. It is a jewel, inside a case..! ;)
