    Re: My German Dilemma

    Hmm... ....
I have 3 Stowa watches right now.
I realized my MO had been sitting in the box too long that I decided to wear it for some sunshine.
    It's a great dress watch I feel
Then I discovered 1 issue which I need some information from Guys here
Any bros please help...The MO had a sub-dial @ 6 position which is the second counter. So while hand winding the second counter will run together with the minute hand.
Is it normal or acceptable for the minute hand to change/move while the second counter reaches eg. 30s or 45s but not full cycle

    a. Stowa Marine Original
    b. Stowa Antea Klein Sekunde
    c. Flieger Baumuster B Handaufzug 2801
These 3 watches in my collection do they have certain timing that cannot be wound or try to avoid winding?
I read the manual but there are no mention for these 3 models

    Re: My German Dilemma

On a non-hacking watch like the MO, the minute hand is always moving when the watch has power, even when the crown is pulled out to adjust the time. If I understood your question correctly, this is totally normal. You just need to move the minute hand to the 12 o'clock position right as the seconds counter crosses the 60 second mark to get things lined up nicely.

Considering Stowa's annual output of 3000 watches, It might be safe to assume that the 1938 is produced in lower numbers because the majority of Stowa sales is in their Marine/Antea/Pilot lines.

    JarrodS,
The way I put my question across is not clear. But you did really understood my question. I was concerned why the minute hand is not sync to the second counter at the 60 second mark. Your explanation clear my doubts now.
S0 is it because M0 is non-hacking watch that it functions this way?
