    So I ordered a Prodiver...

After several long years of wanting, dreaming of and drooling over a Prodiver, I finally caved in and ordered one a few weeks ago. Black dial, orange hands, classic. It's supposed to be here in September and I just received an email from Stowa verifying the minute hand color of my order, which is a promising sign.

Question for Prodiver owners. I've scoured Stowa's website and it's not extremely clear if a metal bracelet is included with purchase. I also emailed Stowa but my question was literally lost in translation. Past reviews have clearly shown the metal bracelet was included but I just want to make sure it is currently included.

Aside from that, who else has a Prodiver slated for Septemberish delivery?

When I ordered, the metal bracelet was not an included option. I had to add it. I also have one on order for Sept delivery. 3 months seems a long way away!

Hello Jutt and welcome to the forum! My Prodiver is scheduled for late July/early August and it is the exact same model. While I thought mine came with the rubber strap only, when I revisited Stowa's site I found the following comment, "Our metal strap is available again from the end of august. We gladly will deliver it as soon as it arrives without additional shipping cost."

Seems to me it's included. Anyone else care to chime in?

I know for a fact I had to add it to my order. It's on my receipt as an extra 100 Euro. Maybe that means I'd get 2 bracelets?

Horoticus - Congrats on your order! That's the quote that I wasn't too clear about. Since delivery is mentioned "without additional shipping cost", to me that implies that a braclet would be included with order however the bracelet isn't mentioned within the product description.

I'd wait to see what some of the others with more experience have to say about this. My sense from their other watches is that the metal always costs extra. Take a look at the fliegers, for example. There's a listing for the leather straps and another item/price for metal. You can add either strap to the order but it's extra. But I've never ordered a Prodiver before so I could be wrong.

Have a look at the page for the Seatime: http://www.stowa.de/lshop,showdetail...portuhren,.htm

There's one listing for the rubber and another for the metal. Is the Prodiver bracelet different from the Seatime one?

I believe that shipping is included meaning you have to purchase it separately, but there is no separate charge for shipping since it's packaged together w/ the watch. I think for awhile, the bracelet was out of stock, so if you ordered a bracelet at the same time as the watch, and it wasn't available to ship w/ the watch. So Stowa would go ahead and ship the wacth first and then ship the bracelet later, but at no charge for the shipping. BTW, the Seatime does not come w/ the bracelet. Both models are 22mm lugs, so the same bracelet works on both.

Hmm, that's what is confusing, there is no Prodiver product option for watch+bracelet when the Seatime includes a watch+bracelet option, for the same out-of-stock bracelet. Oh well, I reworded my original question and replied back to Stowa so hopefully they will clear this up. The good news is that I have 3 months to get this squared away.
