    Stowa repairs - how long?

Anyone know how long it takes Stowa to repair a watch? It is a simple bezel replacement. I sent the watch 2 weeks ago today and they acknowledged receipt the next Monday. After a week of no word I emailed asking for an estimate of how long it might take. Five days and several emails later I still do not have an answer.

Anyone ever sent one back for repair? Am I looking at days or weeks or (hopefully not) months?

I sent my Prodiver that was dropped and slightly damaged. Took a few weeks to be completed after I approved the estimate. Came back service and as good as new.

Thanks for the info. I'm glad to hear it didn't take months to fix it.

I approved the cost before I sent it so hopefully they will fix it and send it back soon.

Sent mine USPS priority international took a month for them to receive it! And another two months for them to complete a timing check and case rebrush.

That's longer than I would expect. You didn't by chance send it in December, did you? I would understand a longer turn-around near the holidays.

I sent mine FedEx on a Friday and they received it on Monday.

It did cost me $135 though.

This shipping cost is ridiculously high! I have no idea why Fedex charges so much .

Stowa paid for the FedEx shipping to Germany from USA to regulate my Antea KS which was running too fast. I had it back to my door in just under a month.

Mine was not sent back under warranty so I had to pay the shipping. I was moving some furniture into a trailer and handed my 3 day old flieger to my sister-in-law so I would not scratch it. Within 30 seconds she managed to bang it on the trailer and scratch/dent the bezel (at the most obvious spot) above the 12 marker. :(

Stowa is going to replace the bezel and engrave the side with Fl 23883, an option I wasn't aware of when I originally ordered it last year. They say it will be another month or so before I get it back.
