    Visiting Stowa . . .

I will be staying in Zurich April 11-15 and
I'd like to drive up (or take a train) to
    visit the Stowa workshop.

Can anyone send me directions, or give
me tips on the best way to go. etc?

    Thanks, Bill

p.s. Jorg, would you like me to bring
    you anything from Chicago?

I´d go by car because you will have a nice sightseeing trip. From Zürich I´d drive to Schaffhausen (IWC ) Route 15 will lead you from Schaffhausen to the swiss-german border. In Germany you follow national route (Bundesstraße) 31 and look for the highway 81 direction Suttgart. Leave at exit 28. Your next destination is Herrenberg. Follow the B 28 / B 299 to Calw. Via Oberdorf - Unterreichenbach you´ll reach Engelsbrand (240 km).

I'll cross my fingers and hope it falls between the May28th and Jun2! I'll be in the area with a fellow WIS doing a tour of south Germany!
I'm planning to drop by Stowa/Schauer and pick something up anyways

    Re: Visiting Stowa . . .

    Thank you Mike,

I will visit five watch makers on this trip:

Stowa, Limes, Laco, Sinn, and Jubilar. I already own Sinn and Limes watches so I'd like to see the Stowa workshop and buy an Aviator watch (hopefully a limited edition).

Not to mention the Laco 55mm. I must see. Maybe I must buy.

My next trip is in late July after the football WC is over. Then I will be visiting Berlin, Dresden, Prague...... I will take a detour to Glashutte

Now I just hope my GPS in rental works!

    Cheers,

    Bhanu

    HI Bhanu,

I'm from Darmstadt and I'll be in Engelsbrand on April 18th - maybe we'll see each other ?!

If you need some information on where to go or stay in Darmstadt - don't hesitate to ask.

    Greets,
    Andreas
