    Orange Monster regulation success

Ok, rank amature watch guy here with my first attempt at regulating anything! Decided to pick on my 1 month old OM which was perfectly happy ticking away at +30spd and no apparant care as regards position, night wear, activity level, etc.
Opened her up with a cheap 3 point key, and using Kello software (previously checked ) with my iPhone 4, proceeded to play with the regulator bar. After a few attempts and misses, I Nailed it with good old fashioned dumb luck. Dead on +.3 to -.2. Unbelievably easy.
Just be careful and follow directions (found elsewhere on line. Here's the link i used...)

I will follow up after monitoring for a few days, but man, this is sweet. Amazing accuracy for a <$175 super tough dive watch with an awesome bracelet.

If you have a steady hand, give it a try.

    UPDATE

OK, so I've been monitoring and playing with overnight resting positions, but basically wearing this watch full time.

Hard to believe, but over the past two weeks, I've settled on a face up resting position overnight.

This watch looses maybe 1.5 seconds during the day, then resting face up at night will make it back up by morning to be +-0.5 on a day to day basis. Pretty remarkable. Highly recommend self regulation (see above). Seiko 7S26 underrated highly accurate and tough!

Correct URL for regulation instructions follows...
