2011 Laco Bremen A dial? Or 2012 Laco Paderborn B dial

Hi everyone. I'm torn right now between two laco's... I have the chance to get either one at a very good deal. The first deal, is a Laco " Bremen" 42mm. New, the Seller has told me he will throw in a 1940's style strap and give me both original brown and black pilot straps with it. Cost 579 shipped Conus.. Name: laco Bremen.gif

Second Deal? Laco Paderborn B dial. This is the New Laco Automatik model for 2012.. Right now Laco Germany is selling it for about 800USD. I can get one for 650, comes with the stock strap only.. I don't know what to do? To be honest, I have a 7 .25mm Wrist, rather flat, so I'm slightly leaning towards the A Dial. Because I hear the A dial wears much larger than the B dial. Yet, the 2012 Model is beautiful, with the smoke grey sand blasted finger proof case.. I just don't know? !! First one for 579 with the 1940's style strap, + 2 Straps. or the 2012 B dial for 650?

Go for the Laco which is most appealing to you. It will be on your wrist for years. Both are 42mm, so make a wise choice.

I favour the B-dial as it seems more "vintage". But i think you should always follow your gut instinct...

i prefer the b dial as its less common and provokes questions about the watch (at least that is my exp.). the a dial is just a bit too simple for my tastes. regardless as others have said already, you will be happy with either as they really are quality pieces.

I like the simple legibility of the A dial. My Laco A dial is one of my favorite watches.

Buy the one you would pick if they were both the same price.

ajustin67: Both are very beautiful watches, can't go wrong with either really. Just wondering, is the Paderborn price a one time deal or do you have a contact? Thanks!

I wouldn't be worried about which one wears bigger. Both are plenty big, although if super-big is the look you want, you need to go to the 45mm versions.

I'm kinda curious about what the grey finish of the newer models looks like when you scratch it. Intuition says the older more silver model would handle scratches better, but I'm yet to scratch my new grey one, so I can't give insight.

I' Went with the Paderborn 42 B dial Automatik. I wonder the same thing about how it handles damage.
I can't imagine Laco would use a finish that would easily scratch. I do know the case and saphire are supposedly
finger print proof. I have no clue how they managed that but, we will see.. I' cant wait to intercept my package
    on Thursday!
