    42mm Laco ETA price?

    Can someone tell me how much was the 42mm Pilot's (ETA auto) were listed for on the Laco Site? - I don't see it there anymore..Thanks in advance.

    ISTR they were in the €390 to €400 zone, maybe €398.

    The last time I've checked I think it was 490euros.

    Have to agree with that. I posted full specs including cost in this forum; a quick search and voila.

    Two important things about that price though - it varies depending on where you live:
    - shipping is now extra
    - that price includes VAT (an additional 19% tax that non-Europeans don't have to pay)

    To be precise, VAT does not have to be paid by people non-resident in the EU.

    (I'm a citizen of an EU country, living in Europe but not in the EU. I don't have to pay German VAT either.)

    Very true and thanks for posting that; however, I was being intentionally vague as not to confuse non-Europeans. Those who live in Europe and share your circumstances would be well aware of what VAT is and whether or not they would have to pay it. Many North Americans - as an example - have never heard of VAT. I didn't see the point in adding complexity to my explanation by mentioning that a few countries, such as Switzerland and Norway, are not members of the European Union, and therefore residents of those countries do not need to pay VAT.
