    Dortmund Erbstuck Has Landed

Received my new Dortmund Erbstuck today. I had purchased the Paderborn Erbstuck earlier but decided that a 45mm manual was what I wanted.
    Very pleased with this.

The case finish is indeed unique to each Erbstuck. The Paderborn had lot of pitting around the case whereas the Dortmund has virtually no pitting and other signs of aging......
I have to say that in more than 4 years of being a WIS and running through 26-27 watches, this is the first instance that I have been so taken with a watch. My compliments to LACO team!

Thanks for the pics, enjoy it! Even I would certainly choose the ¨normal¨ version, I have to admit that these Erbstücks have some great presence.

Damn...this is one of those distractions on my way to acquire my grail. So beautiful, even my wife agrees. I wonder if the 42mm wears so much bigger?

I have about 7.4" flat wrist and the 42mm was a bit smallish...........I don't have any lug overhang with Dortmund.

Wow this watch is superb, im very fond of Laco historical watches, and this idea of making new watch like old and battled one is very clever. Thought not everyone would like it.
    Congrats for the fine piece.

BTW: Does it come with a 'domed' crystal?
