    Laco vs. Alpina

Just acquired a Alpina Startimer Aviation Manufacture so I figured I would share and show a quick pick of the Laco 45 mm vs. the 44mm Alpina.

Both nice watches! The alpina is a bit dressy but sporty so more versatile...the Laco is a classic though!

Very cool. I am always attracted to the Alpinas, and love the modernized flieger look. Nice watch..

Ther Alpina is not my cup of tea. A shame that the "5" and "7" are eaten up by the date indication which is another unusual feature for Flieger watches. But of course you need to be happy with it and you obviously are

    Kind regards

I suppose the Alpina is a flieger with a twist. I wanted something more dressy less rugged so the Alpina fit the bill imo.
But to your point to each is own.

The Alpina's dial looks weird to me, I feel something is missing when I look at it.

I am not getting any love with my new Alpina. would this be a Laco biased thread?
no seriously I am not seeing anything missing but again matter of preference.
Someone must like it but I won't try to convince anyone

I like the Alpina...not as historic or cool as the Laco but probably more versatile as w watcxh..dress, jeans, shorts, etc...Laco would look off with a dress shirt
