Old Laco watch 57 years old

Hi, Trying to find out where i can get an old Laco watch serviced and repaired in the UK. I have limited information on it but i do know its 20 Micron Gold, 17 Jewels antimagnetic. My husband bought it new in Germany in 1955 while he was doing his National Service. The leather strap has now gone and the case is scratched. But it does work, however loses time (probably needs a good clean). The serial numbers inside are very very feint and hard to read as looked like they have been etched on by hand. Does anyone know where i can get this fixed and also what its current value would be (roughly) Have tried to attach pics..not sure if they have uploaded!!

You need someone with the knowledge of vintage watches/movements, not the average Joe around the corner. I'd suggest you have a look here: bhi - clocks, watches &amp the art and science of timekeeping

I can't recommend a watchmaker here in the UK, I send my watches to my German watchmaker. You might consider to re-post on our Public Forum to reach out to more british watch enthusiasts.

    Kind regards
