    Previous Generation Auto? Or New Generation Quartz? Which is better?

    Both are about the exact same price, is the sweeping Movement from the Previous Generation Auto better than having the Current, newer generation quartz?

    Apples and oranges comparison... both the auto & quartz movements are "previous generation". Personally I'll have any mechanical movement over quartz as that's the soul of the watch.
