I've ordered a new strap to replace the worn strap of my ETA 2801, 42mm Dial B.
Should I also get those old spring bars replaced in case they fails. I've some brand new seiko spring bars (not monster diver's springbars) and was thinking of using them on the Laco. They are kind of strong so would it be advisable to use it on the Laco? I am worried that the welded thin lugs may not be able to take the pressure in the long run. Should I just use back the original spring bars that came with the Laco? I may have difficulties getting out those strong seiko spring bars in the future? Thanks.
