Thoughts on Laco Kiel

Hello all,

This is a follow-on from a thread I posted in the German Watches forum (Laco Kiel vs Steinhart Nav B II 47mm) seeking views on the comparative merits of the Laco Kiel and Steinhart Nav B II Chrono / Nav B Chrono 47mm.

After some very helpful comments from brummyjon, KOB, sidders and Andy S., I'm posting this here in the hope of canvassing some more views.

They are all beautiful watches - the Kiel does look a little bit more "authentic" to me (but I'd be pushed to say exactly why) - but there's a fair price gap between them. The Kiel retails at around double the cost of the Steinharts and I'm struggling to find much information on the Kiel online which justifies the price difference.

So, I'm looking for views / reviews / likes / gripes of the Kiel (particularly from anyone who happens to own both the Kiel and either of the Steinharts) to help me beat this indecision.

Thought, help and suggestions are all gratefully received, and thank you in advance.

(I should also say I have seen Achilles' thread My first Laco - Pilot Chrono "Kiel" which actually got me lusting after the Kiel in the first place.)
