Apparently Tourby is making a Gradmaß B-Uhr style pilot. Looks great but the case is only 42mm.
Ah yes, I forgot that Tourby has one at 42mm. Quite noticeable is the lack of the triangle+dots at the 12 position. Its similar to the Patek-Philippe prototype that was made during the period. Vacheron & Constantin also had a prototype in the late 30's. Cheers
i have seen quite a few...looks amazing in real-life
I don't consider that to be a B-Uhr/Flieger/Pilot watch. When you relegate the most crucial design aspect of a B-Uhr to a small sub-dial - especially one without properly established second indicies - you forfeit its identity as a B-Uhr. Some will undoubtedly accuse me of being a rigid purist, but that isn't the case; convince me that a watch without any water resistance can still be called a dive watch and maybe I'll change my mind.
