Casio Solar Panel: Where is it located?

Sorry if i post this on the wrong section,
I never own a Casio with tough solar before , could anyone tell me where is the solar panel in this Waveceptor i'd like to purchase soon?



You could see there's a very fine line surrounding digital window, is that the solar 'receiver'?

Would it be impossible to change the whole dial with let's say a same diameter military type b&w dial?

The whole dial is the solar panel, so you would not be able to replace the dial on this one.

That's very cool.. I have a small farm like that going for my Automatics. The wife is starting to complain I am taking all her dresser space up :P

No. But I own a few solar powered watches:

I own 4 (nothing compared to Gaijin) solar powered Casio's, but is it necessary to give them this much light? I don' t mind if the ones I don't use go to "sleep", or is this bad practice?

FYI, the lights are on a timer to provide eight separate 15-minute "doses" of 10,000 LUX light over the course of 24 hours.

It has been suggested, and I have no reason to doubt it, that the rechargeable batteries in watches like these last the longest when they are maintained at or near full charge. My setup does that without subjecting them to potentially damaging amounts of UV radiation.
