How to erase the "Rec" (stopwatch) data on the G-7710/G-7700

    Hi !

I just got my first G-Shock. Took the plunge and bought two from Amazon. Very happy with my 7700, did not fancy the GLX 5600 in real life. I'll let it grow on my for a while, it it dosent, i'll find a new home for it.

Now to me question. When in "Recall" mode on my 7700. Is it possible to delete the old "data" there ? I'just want to get rid of the old lap time's adn statistics. I try all the buttons when in Recall mode, but it just changes display and information mode.

Thanks for any suggestions. I did check with the manual that came with the watch, but can't see anything about deleting.

    Speedy 3570.50, SMP 2265.80
    Aqua Terra 231.10.39.61.02.001
    G-Shock: GLX-5600, 7700 5000
    Seiko SKX031.

To delete all of the recorded lap history put the watch in stopwatch mode then activate the five second auto countdown timer. Start the five second auto countdown timer but hit the reset button before it reaches zero. This will clear all recorded lap times.

I read it in a forum post about a year ago. I couldn't find it anywhere in the watch manual either.

    Thanks.
Spent the day at Carburator day (spelling ?) at the Indianpolis 500 racetrack. Lucky to have a garage pass, noticed quite a few G-Shocks among the tech/mechanics people working around the garage. Do not know the different models, so cant name them, but it was only digitals I noticed.

Hello guys and ladies. Perhaps i am not the brightest one, or this trick doesn't work. First i launch stopwatch, then going to timer, changing timer 1 to five second, starting it and pushing reset button at -1 second. Then going back to still running stopwatch and stopping it. Nothing has changed. What am i doing wrong?
