dressy watch under $10K

Hi Y'all,

I need some suggestions for a new purchase (first high-ender).

I like a relatively clean face, but at the same time, I like seconds or some other function inset on the face. Examples of what I like are:

Ulysse Maxi Marine (especially with the blue dial)
Zenith Captain with large date and moonphase
Lange Saxonia Annual (beyond my budget, along with some Pateks, Brugets, Blancpain, and other Langes).
And those Longines.

Any other suggestions.

IWC magazine has a list of one type of watch or another in every issue. In their issue from about 2 or 3 months back (I think with a Hermes on the cover), they had 40 or 50 'dress' watches listed, many of which were at or under the $10,000 mark. That might be a good place to get a look at some choices.

One of my favourite Swiss brands, Maurice Lacroix, has a Les Classiques line - with most under that mark as well.

There are nice dress watches below 10k mark like JLC master control and some entry levels of GO.

Or you can spend a tiny bit more and get yourself a Lange, VC or Patek. =D
