The GO is stunning.
Omega Planet Ocean XL 8500 | Rolex DeepSea Sea-Dweller
I would choose IWC.
It's stunning. All three are stunning. But the Portugueser is so perfect in everyway.
Good luck!

My take:
1) iwc Porto
2) zenith
3) GO.
The Porto is a very classic design and is powered by a tried and tested movement.
Same goes for the zenith. Looks wise, it's got a classy avant garde appeal that I like.
Not a fan of this particular go cos for a bigger dial, I'd prefer to have the main dial occupying the entire surface rather than as a sub dial to tell the time.
I don't have enough watches but I like to talk about them.

I found this old thread and I thought I would try and get some responses because I am actually considering one of these 2 watches. This entails the IWC 5001-07 or the Glashutte Original PanoMaticLunar XL. I am looking for that watch to wear with a suit or a pair of jeans. I am in my mid 30's and I am looking for something that will be "timeless" and stay in style for ever. I believe both of these watches can obtain that but I am wondering if the IWC dark blue numbers/strap will still be in style 10 years from now. Further, I am wondering if I will get sick of looking at the moon phase on the Glashutte. I originally was not attracted to this look but after doing some digging around on this forum it appears to be a classic look at enjoyed by many. I would be open to any other watches that are around the 42mm range. I like JLC but it appears most of their watches are the 40mm. I am 6'1 210pds with decent size wrists so I feel I can pull off wearing a 42mm for a dress watch even though most would probably not go any bigger than the 40mm. My price range is under $15k. If it matters at all, I would guess to say I like to dress nice but I am not a fashion forward or very trendy dresser so I am looking for that nice, clean, classic timepiece that would fit me if that makes sense? I greatly appreciate your comments in advance in helping me make this decision.
I forgot to mention I also like the Glashutte Senator XL however it is 44mm and I am assuming the might be too big and it does not have a date function. I also like the Senator 60's chrono 42mm however that also does not have a date function. With that being said, I am curious if everyone else feels a date function would be deal breaker or not? Thanks again everyone!
Of the 3, the IWC is the best all-rounder. I'd drop that particular Zenith. Have you tried them on? The IWC beats the GO in terms of wrist presence in my opinion...
Once more thing, I prefer the IW500114 reference.

go G.O. !!
Go for GO.
(i really should check the date of original posting before replying.)
Final Collection:
AP RO Jumbo (White Dial)
Rolex Explorer II (White Dial)
RM 005 WG
PP 5167A
Hers:
Chopard Happy Sport Ceramic (White)
Cartier Ballon Bleu
PAM 111
These watches all still under consideration for me... Almost bit at the GO when I had an opportunity to buy it second hand. Ultimately, I just couldn't commit because of size (really love 44mm-45mm) and wasn't sure if I may tire of the style. Anyway, despite the lack of love here it may very well be the Zenith I go for first. I love it, unique, discontinued and an awesome movement. Recently bought my wife one (Lady Star Open Heart) and it is really nice.
Will report back if it comes to fruition!
I will say, the GO is the one I pause at most when I cross by a picture... It really is a work of art.
