I am really looking forward to the unveiling of this new creation of Max's. From the teaser it looks like the case has a major sapphire component. Quite interesting concept indeed.

I was told that making the crystal part of the case was a real pain, since the failure rate is about 75% and the time needed to make one piece that can be used is over 55 hours.

But I find it worth it. The HM2 SV is simply stunning. My congratulations to the lucky 25 owners. And congratulations to Max for creating this beauty.

Nivrel had a sapphire case some years ago, a true skeleton watch, but
the failure rate was too high as well as the price, 20K USD. That first
door knob just might the one.
