When you talk about functionality, annual calendar IMO one of the most useful function. To each its own
Having the minute counter on the back is a cool all its' own. I love it when a watch like this makes it into production. It's so utterly, so utterly...anti-time.

Year calendar? Surely a four year calendar? No?

Annual calendar means you have to adjust the date only once a year (February).

Speaking as a watchmaker, I've always wondered how they manage that. If they are making allowances for 30 and 31 day months, it's just as easy to make an allowance for one 28 day month. This is why I am puzzled.

My understanding is than an annual calendar needs to be reset only once every four years, when Feb 29 rolls around. A perpetual calendar adds a year counter (1 through 4) so that leap years are displayed properly. A perpetual calendar needs to be reset only once every 100 years, when the the leap year is omitted from years divisible by 100 (but not 400).

C'est absolument formidable! Je l'ai remarqué plus tôt sur Kronosblog, et c'est merveilleux de voir un ici.

Je suis entièrement d'accord avec son évaluation ... c'est un véritable objet pour le connaisseur.

    Very, very cool.
