    Confused Mistery Patek help me to identify

    Dear Forum Members,

    I found a picture of this mystery Patek Philippe. Not sure if it's original, but is this an existing model at all?

    All input is much appreciated.

    I don't know the model number, but just by the fit and finish of the dial, case and crown, I would have serious concerns about its authenticity. It looks like a cheap chinese fake, but a good way of authenticating it is to have a look at the movement by removing the caseback.

    Thank you for the input. I was thinking the same. And why is there a subsecond dial with no hand when it has a center second too?

    That's an excellent catch. Redundant dials and faux functionality are also excellent methods of identifying fakes.
