Well, My UN Maxi Marine Chronometer came in today. Everything looked pretty good minus a few chips on the raised crystal and usual wear from a preowned until I looked closer and noticed that there was dirt on all of the lume markers, there was a hair caught underneath the anchor of the UN logo, and the watch hands were dinged up like they have been handled carelessly. Plus there's some missing paperwork, so I'm going to exchange words with the seller and take the watch to a repairman and have him open it up if he can and let me have a look at the movement. If that checks out, then I'll feel a lot better about the whole thing and post pictures of it.
