Swiss luxury watch maison Angular Momentum & Manu Propria have just unveiled this irresistible fire engine red watch called the Splendor Sangre with a round date at 3 o'clock. This elegant, classic looking timepiece is equipped with the historical Fontainemelon FHF 74 manual winding movement. The 42 mm staybrite steel case and red lacquered dial with date window adds unmistakeable style to this timepiece, and no further words are necessary.

It feels not very comfortable looking at a dial, nothing to read but the red.

Angular Momentum doesn't belong on this forum and I'm a fan.

I know there are two threads dedicated to the idea of what is a high end brand or watch. I guess I will paraphrase Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart: I don't know what a high end watch is, but I know it when I see it. And this monstrosity is clearly not one. Just curious 1). what is the MSRP? (I assume pretty high) and 2). what is this so called historic movement? I could not find any information on the "historic movement" which basically looks like a vanilla Unitas with no decoration or modification. I love Dornbluth, Jochen Benzinger, and Stefan Kudoke, who make high end watches with have gorgeous movements based on Unitas ones. I have nothing against a basic movement but believe an honest company will at least make some modifications given its price point.

Who is Potter Stewart? Is he a watchseeker also?

I do think this watch is distinctive. It is shinning with a red color. Good job!
