Dear forum members,
I am currently undertaking a comprehensive piece of academic research in relation to how watch companies can use modern manufacturing and supply chain techniques, commonly used in other industries, to better serve their customers needs.
There is currently an online survey underway, in order to try and better understand the views of consumers, and to see how important the ability to produce and order individually customised watches would be to their purchasing decisions. Any responses you could give would be extremely valuable in gauging the demand for these services.
The survey is extremely quick taking no more than 1-2 minutes.
If you would like to be a part of the research then please feel free use the link below.

All views are equally as valid and valuable.
No personal identifying information is collected.
The result will be made freely available and published on the watchuseek.com website after the conclusion of the study
Thanks in advance.
I would like to thank the watchuseek.com owners and admins for being so supportive and allowing me to reach out this important online community of opinion formers.

Update 20/04/2012:
Thanks to everyone that has taken the time to fill in the survey so far, I now have over 200 replies from watchuseek forum members.
In response to a few questions and comments posted on the various threads I would like to offer the following points of clarification:
This research is being used as part of my MBA dissertation, I am a part-time post graduate student at the University of Exeter Business School (UK), in to competitive advantage through mass customisation.
The raw data will be presented on this forum on or about the 2 week of May, with the final research dissertation being available, hopefully, towards the end of May. That depends on the submission and publication guidelines of the University.
Update 21/04/2012:
This survey will be closing on 23 April.
If you would like to submit your views, which would be very welcome them valuable, please feel free to take the opportunity while the survey still open.
There have so far been 250 responses from watchuseek forum members, my thanks to you all.
Update 23/04/2012:
The survey is now closed
Thank you all for partaking in this survey, your views and greatly received and will be extremely valuable in my research.
As promised the results will be available as soon as possible.
Thanks
