Question It is mechanical and it is a clock, or it could be someday

I got this as a gift at least sixteen years ago. I was heavily into origami back then.

The assembly instruction booklet is 96 pages long. Each part has to be carefully cut out and laminated together to give them dimension. I barely even started before my first daughter arrived and demanded all of my time. Now, my hands and eyes may not be up to the delicate task of cutting and gluing paper gears. All of the parts are in the box and most have not been touched yet. I still think it is a very interesting project. Perhaps one day, my Peace Tower Clock will hang in my rec room.

I found this post over at nawcc after seeing this cool clock in your post, Dabo.

Too bad it's discontinued. I have yet to find it for sale, but if I do, this would be a nice project to while away the downtime at my job. Hope I can find one.
