Has anybody got any info on this little sweetie.
It is powered by a battery powered movement, a Quartz 85 Made in Germany.
The name Haller is scripted on the front and ( one of ) the great things about it is
the rotating pendulum which twists languidly first one way and then the other.

Interesting clock, never seen one exactly as yours.

But I have worked on a few with that Haller 85 Quartz movement.

They are a "fake" torsion movement, fake because they are made to appear to be a mechanical wind-up torsion type clock movement. A torsion movement is used in Torsion clocks, better know as Anniversary or 400 Day clocks that use a rotating pendulum rather than one that swings back and forth.

The rotating pendulum in your clock doesn't regulate the clock as it does on a real torsion clock, it just rotated.

Here's a pic of the movement in a quartz "Anniversary" Clock where they are usually found.
