    ROLLING EYE CLOCK

    Hi everyone

I have been given a "Rolling eye clock" in the shape of a Geni? It is carved from a hard wood. Painted with a cream/white turban, dark green top redish bottoms, 2 white metal earings and his face and outstretched hands are chocolate coloured. The minute and hour markings are orange. It stands 8" (23cm) high, from base to tip of turban, 4" (11cm)wide and 4and3/4" (12 cm) deep. I removed the bakerlite disc at the back and on the brass is the name J. OSWALD GERMANY and underneath it says NO (0) JEWELS and NO ADJUSTMENT. I have wound it and it has been ticking away, keeping good time, for the last 4 days and still going.
As I have no knowledge of clocks so I would be grateful for any information regarding maker, age etc.
    Thanks in anticipation

I just came across these links, don't know if it will be helpful to you or not:

Ebay even seems to have a few hits for "oswald clock":
